yeah, HES pcb emulation got slightly improved when I slot-ified the carts so Sidewinder might have benefit of the improvement. Or maybe it was the better 6502 core written by OG to have helped.
In any case, I'm happy you can now relive your childhood... it's an important part of emulation
p.s. the US version uses a different PCB-type and that's why it was already working before
