Hey, thanks for the informative read Vas. So they really designed a new (revised) architecture just because they didn't want to port their operating systems to a common endianness... makes you think about what software development did cost back then, if it was deemed cheaper do rebuild the hardware
So there really is a Solaris for the PPC then? I've heard only rumors so far (and of course I've never seen any media or iso), but I assume at some point it will surface somewhere (preferably in a MESS softlist )
