There was a DOS version of The Print Shop itself, along with Mac, C64 and Atari 8-bit. And several clones.
Broderbund themselves sells a much-upgraded version for Windows 7. Didn't know they were still in business
They're not, exactly. What remains IIRC is a company that holds the rights to their branding.
What _WAS_ amazing for a while for the Windows version was that they maintained file compatibility with Print Shop for Win95 (or was it 3.1?) up through... 2007/2008, I want to say. Then they created a new version (probably during one of the changes in ownership) that completely killed backwards compatibility.
I had two peaks in using it, one was 86-90 and the other was 95-99. After that I got out of making homemade greeting cards and most of my flyers were in more pro tools.
