Well I don't know what you're doing differently from me mahlemiut but running mess64 x68000 gemini will not allow me to use anything aside from the numpad on my keyboard and f11 and f12 for controls, and constantly has hiccups on accepting inputs that way.
And I'm pretty sure the game's not meant to have blue backgrounds or completely glitch up showing backgrounds either: something I noticed today running the new build.
Edit: also, when I try to do a reset that involves changing either a slot device or using softlist for ROM within MESS it just crashes completely. WTF.
