OK, I just tested them with the old code and the new code, no difference was noticed.
Gradius Kai is unplayable with bad gfx. Legend of Kage runs almost ok, but not knowing the usage, couldn't play the game. Sangokushi, after dozens of questions it never got ingame (I assume some fighting should happen?).
Someone had added some X1-specific code to the dma which I left there, although it shouldn't be needed any more.
